Sevices and Fees
(effective July 1, 2023):
- Initial
telephone consultation -- no
charge
- On-site
consultations/activity
- Individuals --
$75/hour (one partner present, one hour
minimum per visit, billed to next full half hour
after first hour)
- VHS tape conversions available --
~$15/tape (rate may vary if technical issues occur while converting)
- All others (including
charitable and commercial clients)-- click here
- Off-site
work on customer hardware
- Individuals -- $70/hour
for any subsequent hours of off-site service in
full hour increments (plus applicable pickup and
delivery charges up to a maximum of $25 per
incident)
- Follow-up
telphone consultations (per customer-initiated call)
-- no charge for first 15
minutes (afterward, same as on-site rates)
- Follow-up
e-mail consultations -- generally no charge (unless
substantial time or research is required)
- Hardware/software
purchases -- our best price
cost plus 10% (payable on delivery;
installation, if desired, at on-site rates)

Group presentations on selected topics -- negotiable

Website design/management -- negotiable,
depending on scope of project (domain registration
and/or hosting can be arranged by OCW)
- General
programming -- negotiable,
depending on scope of project (OCW retains rights to
original source code unless otherwise agreed upon)
- Personal
opinions on the state of the world -- no charge
Charges
are expected to be paid at time of service unless
otherwise agreed to in advance.
